In 2024, we looked closely at how retail traders manage their activity. Most keep a journal on Excel. A few have a paper notebook. Most have nothing at all, just a trade history in their broker and a selective memory of their good decisions.
This is not a motivation problem. It's a tooling problem. We built TradeStack to fill that gap, without pretending the tool alone is enough.
The trader who improves beats the trader who stumbles.
Most losses don't come from a bad setup. They come from bad execution of a good setup. We believe that self-improvement, tracked, measured, repeated, is the only durable edge in the markets.
Data does not lie. Emotions do.
Every trade is a data point. Every pattern is a signal. But the human brain is wired to tell stories after the fact. TradeStack enforces the objective trace: timestamp, price, mental state, result. The truth, not the narrative.

Institutional desks have risk managers, trade blotters, review processes. Retail only has intuition and P&L. TradeStack closes that gap without unnecessary jargon, without unnecessary complexity.
